Let me introduce you to “The Inner World” a 2D Point & Click Adventure game.

One of my favorite Quotes speaks straight from my heart. I’ve been working on this for a total of 4 years and it changed my life a freakin’ lot. It all started in 2009 with a Workshop my former University (HS Ravensburg-Weingarten) did together with the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. It was a creative workshop where programmers, interactive media conceptors and animators came together in a castle without internet at the beautiful lake of constance. There we were locked up for about a week and put together in as mixed teams as possible.

As a result of that we had the raw idea of a setting in which we wanted to tell a story. After several weeks of keeping in contact and developing the Story World further we decided to keep working on that. In order to do so I went to the Filmakademie as a guest. That’s when the hyper-skilled Mareike Ottrand joined our team and we kept on developing that thing that should become our award winning debut title as an independent game development studio.

In 2011 all of us finished their studies with “The Inner World” as a topic (IP-Development, Visual Development and the Development of an Adventure Framework) and on the day we picked up our diplomas we founded Studio Fizbin. Boom.

The next 2.5 years where a crazy rollercoaster ride of funding, trying to get more money, working without sleep, having personal losses and so on. But then – well see for yourself!
